Relax Located on one of Remsenburg's most prestigious lanes, this elegant 3.4 acre compound offers a rare opportunity to stay at a beautifully designed historic estate of 7,547 sq ft plus 2000+ square foot legally finished lower level gym and entertainment area. This magnificent home rests on 1.4 park-like cleared acres, plus a 2 acre adjacent lot. Originally built in 1877 and renovated in 2008, and again renovated in 2023 this Remsenburg estate has been updated with modern conveniences including 2023 electronics, speakers, lighting fixtures, floors, paint, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning systems, while maintaining many of the charming historic details. The home offers 7 bedrms (5 en suite) (sleeps 13 and can be expanded based on need) and 7 full baths and 2 half baths (9 total bathrooms). 9 foot + ceiling heights. There are multiple living areas for entertaining and relaxing. The foyer leads to a living room with “The Frame “ TV and Venetian plaster gas fireplace. The beautiful dining room has an entrance to the elegant main corridor of the house as well as butler pantry access for easy food delivery. An elegant family room with plenty of natural light features a 2023 83” Samsung NEO QLED high definition television. The home features a fully functioning office with access to high speed internet / desktop and printer. A central gathering spot is the gourmet kitchen with great room, butler's pantry, fireplace with real functional pizza oven and indoor/outdoor screened porch w/ fireplace. The 2nd floor hosts the primary suite with oversized dressing room, gas fireplace and 77” WLED TV. 5 en suite bedrooms upstairs. Finished lower level with radiant floor heat, large state of the art gym, pool table, bar area, pinball machine, bedroom, 2 bathrooms , and a storage room. Custom ceiling mounted speakers for music throughout the house and pool area. ADT Security system / video cameras. Barn / garage, heated gunite 45-foot long pool, and beautiful historic windmill. This stunning traditional estate is close to the beach, features an in-ground trampoline, outdoor pellet stove, tree swing, basketball court, ping pong table, hammock, firepit, wind chimes, and beautiful outdoor sitting and dining areas. The landscape features mature plantings, has been professionally designed by a landscape architect, and manicured to perfection. This stately home features 6 fireplaces (3 gas and 3 wood burning). The home features 11 flatscreen TVs, all oversized, and most are high end televisions.
