Westvale Park Vacations from $685

Overall satisfactory

Once arrived at airport I went to the counter to request my pick up shuttle the driver arrived at a reasonable time and by my surprise a female driver. The drive back to the hotel felt slightly longer than 4 mins but its not miles away. On approach the reception my room was ready but the environment felt and looked very dated and not as modern looking as the pictures. The hotel is in need of renovations but luckily for me I was in transit for 7 hours so it was ok to stay for that length of time. Due to my late departure at 9pm they charged for the shuttle back to the airport at 10usd which I thought should have been free considering flights run through the night. The taxi arrived pretty much as it was called and I arrived on time for departing flight. For short stays its ok.

Relaxing and wonderful stay. Great food for all meals

Outstanding hospitality and professional service – Highly recommend! As a first-time traveler to Trinidad, I truly appreciated the incredible hospitality at the Hyatt Regency Port of Spain. During my stay, I experienced a brief scare when I returned to my room and found the door standing ajar. Thankfully, after checking my belongings, I discovered that absolutely nothing was missing. I immediately contacted reception, who promptly connected me with the security team. The security personnel were extremely professional. Following their investigation, the security manager on duty called me back right away to reassure me and explain exactly what happened. He informed me that the room attendant had simply failed to fully close the door after servicing it, and assured me he would bring it to the housekeeping manager's attention to prevent it from happening again. Their swift, transparent communication completely put my mind at ease. On a brighter note, the dining experience was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp Rasta pasta by the water while a live musician entertained the crowd. The entire food and beverage team was incredibly attentive and friendly. Despite the minor housekeeping oversight, the staff's professionalism and the beautiful atmosphere made this a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Port of Spain!

The owner was very nice and accommodating. I felt comfortable and at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
