  • Come relax in this cozy bungalow on beautiful Lake Jordan ( Holtville side) and only thirty minutes from Montgomery . Whether you are looking for a great fishing vacation, fun with family, or just want a great place to relax; this is the place for you!

    This cabin features two bedrooms with full bed in one and Queen bed in other bedroom, bathroom ( shower only) , washer and dryer, equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Extra sleeping is provided in gathering room with a queen size pull out sofa. Gather in the large gathering area with windows galore with lake views. Off the living room is a quaint sunroom for you to enjoy your morning coffee or just sit on the deck at night enjoying the outdoors. It is fully equipped with all of your daily living needs and is located within one mile of a grocery store.



    It has a large yard with almost 300 feet of waterfront! Bring your own personal water sports equipment. Want to bring your boat? There is a public boat ramp within a mile for your convenience!

    Please come stay at the Barefoot Bungalow and sit back and truly relax and enjoy small town American living on Lake Jordon.

This was our second visit and we loved every minute! Such beautiful views of the lake. Great living spaces— the main room with the den/dining area/kitchen is perfect! We loved every minute in the outside spaces— the porches and pier are wonderful! Br sure to check out the herons and egrets— beautiful birds!

We had the best time here! Perfect lake house for our family. The large living area was perfect for visiting and the outside areas made you want to stay outside forever! The owner was very easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful. We have stayed in several different lake houses for family holidays and we all felt this was the BEST!

Everything was great from check in to check out. The house was clean, great outdoor space with awesome views (especially at sunset. There is a propane grill as well as a pellet grill. Kitchen was nicely stocked.We were going to travel with five adults, one child and one dog. My parents ended up not going, there was plenty of room and there would’ve been plenty with my parents there as well.We will definitely be back, it was nice to have hosts that were so attentive to our needs.There was an issue with the toilet, Sherry and Chad (hosts) took care of it immediately.

My 92 year old mother uses a walker and the property was well suited to accommodate her. The property owner made sure to mark any areas that were steps ups/downs to insure her safety.

Perfect place for your mind and soul reset!

I am so happy to have found Barefoot Bungalow! It is a lovely place in a beautiful and peaceful setting. You cannot help but to be relaxed from the minute you arrive. My family, including our fur baby, had an absolutely wonderful time. We did not want to leave, and we will be back.

Quiet and relaxing

House was clean, cozy and inviting and the view is great. We traveled to Wetumka for the wildlife arts festival and the peacefulness of this cottage was what we were looking for.

This was the perfect place for what we needed. We brought our bloodhound and teen kids, the place was a perfect fit for a small family vacation. Even the hound was at ease and comfortable. The kids barely got out to the lake, we grilled steaks, sat around the fire pit, and just thoroughly enjoyed the peace. It felt like we stepped back in time while not losing the modern qualities. We will be back for sure to stay in the same house as it already holds so many memories in just a two night stay.
