We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings

A satisfactory experience.

This is a simple B & B with parking out the back. It was entirely satisfactory for our visit to Whitby and the 15 minute walk to town was OK. However it was relatively expensive for what it offered.

Furniture and fittings very antiquated. Bedding very old and worn, bed linen did not look clean and fresh. Bathroom shower looks as if mould growing around base, not hot water to the basin, towels very worn and ruff. Breakfast very poor, left on landing to help yourself, cereal and fruit only not worth the payment charged. Parking not easy and very limited particularly for the larger car. Expedia stated only one room left that clearly was not the situation. Definitely not value for money.

We stayed here as it was walking distance from the venue for a wedding we were attending. We booked it three nights before so only the bunk bed room was available, but it was fine for us as we were out all day long and then had to be back early the next morning! Lorraine was extremely helpful - we asked if early check in could be facilitated and she did! We were running extremely late after travelling down and Lorraine very very quickly checked us in as I was half-sprinting through the house to get to the wedding in time. The complimentary breakfast was perfect for us - cereals, juices, pastries, toast.

A good old-style private hotel. Compact room - number 3 doesnt get the incessant traffic noise. Nice breakfast ingedients to be eaten in your room. Check the actual walking times to places, and on routes, you would choose. And it is very hilly. Parking is available, tho tight access. We would stay again
