Hilltop Hideaway Beach Access House Whitmore Lake

Loft style lounge tv room and private deck for barbecuing and relaxing!

Large kitchen with island and cooking essentials. Great for gathering with friends for Michigan football season.

Private beach access through neighborhood to Whitmore Lake with basketball, volleyball, floating raft, grill and picnic tables. **please bring beach towels/chairs, none provided**

Pet friendly with large partially fenced in backyard with wood fire pit for roasting s’mores (please bring your own firewood!)

Window AC units upstairs (master bedroom) and downstairs (living area)

2 Queen Beds, 2 Futons…sleeps 6! 2 full baths with bathing essentials and bath towels.

Fast WiFi with 60 inch smart TV (Spectrum TV Cable, Disney+, YouTube)

Ann Arbor and Brighton just 10 minutes north or south on highway 23.

**Absolutely no parties allowed (or more than 6 people). Failure to comply guests will be charged an extra $150 cleaning fee.**

Easy & delightful alternative to pricey Ann Arbor
Great updated house in convenient location just 15 minutes to Ann Arbor. Lovely kitchen and beautiful bathrooms with a charming deck including bbq grill. Luxury bath amenities and thoughtful touches (including cinnamon rolls in the fridge) made this a special stay. Thank you!

This property is right off the Mike Levine Lakeland bike trail and the Proud Island Cut. Garage was an excellent place to store and recharge bikes.

Great host/ Nice Stay
The host, Liz, was very kind and responsive! We enjoyed our quick “get away” at this VRBO. It was clean, large backyard and deck, and sufficed our needs. The one negative about the place is that the “3rd bedroom” isn’t really a bedroom, more like a room with no door right off the kitchen. So we had to adjust for that reason, but other than that- a wonderful stay!

Great place for UofM visits
Came to Michigan so my son could attend hockey camp at UofM for a week. The house was only 20 minutes from the rink on campus, which was great. The lake was only a 5 minute walk, so my other kids hung out there during the day while their brother was gone. Between the basketball, volleyball, and water, they stayed plenty occupied. The house is very spacious and worked great for our family of 5 plus 1 dog. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and then some. Check in and out was super easy. Overall, a great stay at this property, would definitely recommend.

Restful Retreat a short walk from beach
So relaxing and comfortable. It stormed and rained during our trip but we did manage a walk to the beach. The accommodations were perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the storms from all the windows. Our host is lovely and responsive!

Clean spacious quiet stay
We stayed here while visiting family. There is a lot of space in the house. The layout is a bit choppy. Bead rooms are spaced out. Only downside was a lot of stairs to manage with a toddler. Very clean and convenient!

I stayed here with a few friends as a fun little getaway. We loved the proximity to the lake and downtown Brighton. Everything was exactly as pictured and very nice. Check in and check out were both super easy as well.

Beautiful home
This home near Whitmore Lake was perfect for my family visiting our daughter who’s a student in Ann Arbor. It is a quick easy drive from AA and was a great space for my family including 2 teenage boys and my parents. There is plenty of room to hang out in the living and dining areas of the home and we were even able to have my daughter and several of her friends from AA over for dinner one night with plenty of space. The only very minor things to know is there is only seating for 4 comfortably on the couch in the living room, thankfully we had teenagers who didn’t mind sprawling out on the floor, and the 3rd bedroom bedroom is more of a sitting room off the kitchen with a futon and a couch with no door, just an archway separating from the kitchen, my teenage boys were fine with it, but good to be aware there isn’t any privacy in this room. We would love to return in the warmer seasons to check out all the lake has to offer.

Really just perfect!
We only had a short time to visit the area, but we will be back! The house is lovely, and my husband and I enjoyed how spread out everything is. We were not falling over each other and we (and the dog) were able to have our own space when we wanted it. GREAT kitchen! Maybe another TV, but that's really nitpicky because my husband is a gamer and I like to watch streaming content. We didn't have much down time, so this was not nearly as important as the space, the kitchen, and the location. If you are on the fence about renting this property, just do it! You will love it.
