My sis and I really enjoyed two nights at hochatown. I requested a wheelchair assessable room as my sis is an amputee the hotel staff were extremely helpful in that regard as we were upgraded to a suite as the other handicapped rooms were already booked. Very friendly staff throughout the property and the slots were modern and paid pretty good sometimes.

This property was gorgeous and clean. Perfect for an escape and disconnect from the digital world. All basic items were available. If anything else was needed the property wasn't too far from a store.

The cabin is so beautiful and has great amenities. There were a few things that were broken that would have been better if they weren’t but they were all still usable. The host was prompt when I needed to communicate anything. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding woods were beautiful.

The best area to stay in Wickes, Arkansas, is near the intersection of Highway 278 and Highway 71, as this offers the most convenient access to local amenities and natural attractions.
This central area provides straightforward access to the Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area, known for its challenging whitewater rapids and hiking trails. It's also the gateway to the Ouachita National Forest, which offers extensive opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, and ATV riding. This makes it an excellent base for solo travelers or couples who enjoy outdoor adventure.
For those planning to explore the surrounding natural beauty, staying near these main highways simplifies day trips to attractions further afield, such as the Queen Wilhelmina State Park to the north or the Crater of Diamonds State Park to the south.
