This is a great place to stay with a beautiful hotel and beautiful views from the hotel. The staff is great and the manager went out of his way to make sure our stay went well.
Excellent place to stay. This was our second visit. Amazing and friendly staff, amazing food at Restuarant, very comfortable bed, extremely clean room, and very nice breakfast! We will definitely come back!
We loved this place! It was our first visit but oh so quaint. Loved the restaurant, fireplace in the room and all the wonderful siting areas around the property. It is a great place to recharge and watch the beautiful surroundings.
It was a beautiful property with friendly staff. The room was very pretty but the mattress was very soft and the pillows were tiny. We loved the fireplace as well but when you lay down you can't see the fire and it was uncomfortable to sit at the end of the bed. A cozy area should be in front of the fire place. However I would still stay there again.
Nice property with stunning views in early October! Room was nicely kept and bed very comfortable. However, the food service in restaurant was under staffed and a bit slow. We arrived downstairs for the complimentary breakfast at given time to find nothing set up and no staff except the manager who was trying to accommodate. A bit disappointing.
Lovely old building, perched on a hilltop affording lovely views in all directions, with comfortable rooms and a great (if expensive) restaurant and nice continental breakfast for free.
Beautiful renovated mansion on the outskirts of town. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint is our room, #10, was above the mechanical system which shook the room and rattled the lamp on the nightstand next to the bed.
We only stopped by for a single night and got in late. The staff were amazing with late check in, the room was clean and obviously well taken care of. In the morning we were met with an unreal view. We are already planning on coming back here for multiple nights to enjoy the beauty.
Room was lovely. Lots of old time charm. Beautiful view! Continental breakfast was average- fruit was kind of shriveled. Did not try out the restaurant, it just didn’t fit our schedule. Would stay again.
We selected the Green Mountain Inn for its central location in VT. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us with several suggestions and ideas. This is a historic Inn so rooms have very little space. The staff showed us several very comfortable “living room” areas that were great. Breakfast was excellent as was the coffee.
With a a restaurant/bar on site and the “speak easy” down stairs to play pool, sit by the fire, play games. It’s truly gave the feel of a historic resort more than just a lovely inn.
