Nestled just outside the charming village of Bowness-On-Windermere, Squirrel Bank is a detached Cottage for two, a perfect hideaway for a tranquil escape in the Lake District.

Jump on a Ferry and explore the path to Wreay Castle or take one of the many walks nearby. Orrest Head and School Knott are fantastic for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike. And if you fancy a day by the water, Lake Windermere is also just a short walk away where you can catch a boat for a tour around the Lake.

•The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, hob microwave and all the essentials you need. We've got your basics covered with salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, and coffee all ready for you.  
  
•The pretty entrance hallway houses the washing machine, with room to leave your outdoor gear.

•A comfortable king size bedroom awaits for your relaxation after busy days exploring the Lake District, complete with TV, wardrobe and dressing table.

We provide Miniml shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, along with both small and large bath towels for each guest to ensure your comfort.

•Steps lead up to a relaxing space featuring a hot tub and seating area, perfect for unwinding and enjoying outdoor living after a day of exploring the Lakes.  
  
•Driveway parking adjacent to the cottage for 2 cars.  
  
During your stay at Squirrel Bank, you will have complete access to the entire property, including its inviting interior, terrace with a hot tub, and the surrounding garden.  
  
Self Check-in:  
  
To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we provide self check-in. You'll find a key safe located by the door, and we'll provide detailed instructions on retrieving the keys before your stay. This way, you can effortlessly check in at your convenience.  
  
Ample Parking:  
  
Parking is never a concern at Squirrel Bank. There is plenty of space available for parking your car off road in the driveway.  
  
While we don't live in the property, we're always here for you! You can reach out to us anytime through Airbnb or over the phone. From here, you can catch direct trains to London, Glasgow, Manchester, and more. If you're arriving by train, you can hop on a local bus or take a taxi to get to the property.
