This custom-built luxury cabin was crafted piece-by-piece and board-by-board, using oak and pine harvested directly from our own land. Every detail was designed with the guest in mind, from the unique custom woodwork to the massive 400+ sq. ft. back porch that sits high above the valley, offering gorgeous, unobstructed views. The Space: Sleeps 16 Comfortably: Featuring 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Dual Living: The cabin includes 2 full kitchens and a separate living area—perfect for large groups or multiple families who want to stay together while maintaining their own privacy. Relaxation: After a day on the trails, soak in the private hot tub located on the lower back porch. Unbeatable Trail Access: Located just 5 minutes from the Windrock General Store. Very spacious with 2 of the bedrooms with king size beds- nice bonus as most homes don’t offer this! Beds were very comfortable too Kitchen was well stocked with pots/ pans etc. Front and back porch offered a cozy place to take in the scenery. Cabin was clean and nicely decorated. I will let everyone know, there are stray dogs that are running around the area and even in coolers and closed boxes, they were able to get into our food on the front porch. You could smell it when you opened up the door to go downstairs.Basement bathroom smelled like moldy pee after warming up the basement with the propane heater. Also noticeable black mold around shower. Kitchen was stocked with essentialsBring your own toilet paper if you will be there a long weekend.Up stairs towel rack was broken. Shower curtain liner had ripped hanger spots. Driveway is difficult to get up. Ripped our trailer taillights. Very tight turns and not alot of room for trucks and trailers. ##### Mary R. We absolutely LOVED this cabin. The location was perfect in relation to riding at Windrock. Once we parked the trucks and unloaded, we didn’t touch the trucks again until it was time to head home. If you have a loaded trailer, you will need 4 wheel drive on the driveway but we had no issues. The cabin was clean, provided everything we could need, and had amazing views. I got some gorgeous pictures off the deck. The host was also very responsive and great to deal with! I do however recommend that you have 4wd if you want to climb up to get to the cabin especially in the rain. The owner and his friends were our next door neighbors for the weekend and they were so friendly and checked up on us. Whoever cleans needs to do a little bit better though. We found dirty dishes and undergarments. It was so beautiful and secluded. My granddaughter did not want to leave this morning. I do hope to be back. We left a wine glass for to add to your glasses. If you have a big truck and trailer, you may want to think about unloading and parking at one of the Windrock parking lots. You definitely need four wheel drive to get even a smaller loaded trailer up the drive. We did not have access to laundry facilities or an outside water supply.
