As the name suggests, the hotel is very old. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Ample parking. As others noted, there is NO eateries around the hotel. You need to drive 3.5-4 miles from the hotel to the closest shopping places , restaurants which has good options . So anyone checking in late night is advised to come prepared accordingly. The hotel does NOT have AC but they do provide two table fans which did the job after leaving them on for a while. It does take a while for the fans to cool the room.l but until then the rooms felt reasonably hot in mid July. Hotel is pet friendly .

The room was warm, no AC, had to use a box fan. We had to turn up TV due to fan noise. The front desk employee was very nice and helpful. We asked about close restaurants, and she was very accommodating.

Super location at 9,000' , surrounded by mountains. Very scenic. Comfortable bed, very quiet (pre-formed concrete slab construction) and clean room. Chyna (sp?) the check in hostess was very friendly and helpful in getting me a room upgrade. Very pet friendly. About 1/3 of the guests seem to have a dog or two.

This is our second year coming here for the main part of our summer get away. Would recommend to anyone especially for the price. Clean rooms, nice pool. And hot tub.

Good sized room with nice kitchenette. The room and bathroom were very clean. Didn't like having a room right next to the pool and hot tub due to volume level of voices from in the pool area. Wished the windows would have opened up further. It can get stuffy not having air conditioning.

My bed was comfortable. My room was clean. We had a kitchenette, which was great because it had a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and a burner. There is no air conditioning so it was quite hot while we were sleeping. The daily temperature was about 80°. There is a lot of noise coming from the road, so it was hard to sleep without getting woken up by the traffic. The pool area has lots of weeds growing throughout what could be nice landscaping. Did not have a very inviting feel so we did not use the pool or hot tub. There were only a couple of chairs there anyway. I would say the price I paid was relevant to the property.

The place is great ! Loved the roominess, fireplace and kitchenette. But the toilet has a problem flushing. I did report it and seems that nothing happened to fix it. You have to hold the flusher down the entire time to get it to flush. Also I think the coffee maker had the wrong pot or something. The basket would not let the coffee come down into the pot. Only about half would come down.

Chose for location, dining and pool. Pool was full of baseball kids upon arrival. Was supposed to open at 830, was closed due to maintenance due to night before so that was disappointing. It didn't open back up till we. Had to checkout . Then no dining I guess cause off season? Only coffee was Keurig. Had to drive back into winter Park for dinner and breakfast at least it was only 3 miles but when you are tired from traveling, 3 miles feels long. Upside clean and friendly staff. Downside, kids baseball tournament had to knock on wall to quiet them. They stopped so just kids having fun.
