"Lovely, unusual and quaint cottage in a beautiful area. Well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Loved the stairs and rooms on different levels but might be difficult for some. Shops, cafes and pubs right outside the front door. Great stay in a lovely area. "

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. "delightful and charming. lovely cottage. not sure what others had to complain about as we arrived to find the cottage warm and cosy. in fact if anything we had to turn the temperature down. we had a lovely views of the flowing beck and three cows and three ducks. locals were very friendly and the local pub the George was reasonable and generous proportions. haddock and chips take away at an amazing £7.45 was an absolute winner. the welcome pack was the best we have seen with the addition of an...
