Clean room, great friendly staff

Overall can’t really complain. Semi-last min booking so prices were a little higher than I’d care to pay for an in between wedding and place to crash after. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, asked for an early check in and they accommodated for us which was great, saved us from having to change for a wedding at a gas station. Room was decent; clean, spacious and comfortable. Aside from the poorly designed bathroom you couldn’t move in and out of and the door latch that didn’t work it wasn’t ideal having my kids burst through the door I couldn’t lock and smoke my knees when I was on the toilet. The pool was closed for maintenance which wasn’t a big deal but kind of annoying since you hav no choice but to pass by it to get to the elevators and my young kids whined I wouldn’t let them go. Could have likely been reflected in the price. There was also construction next door, which wasn’t occurring during our stay, but the trucks and equipment took up half the already way too small parking lot. Very minor complaints in the big picture but when you pay close to $300 for a night you sort of come to expect a little more than just a complimentary breakfast that had almost nothing left by the time we got there.

The property was fine. A basic, clean hotel. Check in was a nightmare. One staff member to check in 14 guests. In the evening we waited over 2o minutes to speak to someone at the front desk. They were talking to their “boss”. What supervisor would prefer their staff to talk to them rather than helping customers. Another guest had waited over 30 minutes to check in that evening.
