I will preface my review with the fact that we never actually checked in, so I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the property and j am an honest person. However I’d like to leave a review for the calllus and cold hearted property manager so that all potential customers are aware. On 4/24 at 1:30pm, I decided to book a last minute getaway for the next day 4/25. That morning I woke up to my infant son violently ill and having to take him to the hospital. Once settled I called the hotel to explain the extenuating circumstances and see if an exception could be made for a free cancellation or even credit, we were told to leave a voicemail for the manager to discuss. After no return call my husband called to follow up and was simply told there would be no refund and no manager would be returning our call. Isn’t that nice? I understand cancellation policies are in place however there should be exceptions for last minute bookings such as mine and you would think those in the hospitality industry would be compassionate towards a child in the hospital. Now we are in the hospital and out the money. Even though we never arrived or checked in, they had no problem charging our card in full despite knowing we weren’t there and despite knowing the reason. Absolutely disgusting.
