    Surrounded by vast desert terrain and dramatic boulder landscapes, Skyline Ranch offers a level of space, silence, and seclusion rarely found this close to Joshua Tree National Park. Spanning 7,000 square feet of steel and glass, the home was designed to dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic desert and boulder views in every direction.
    Thoughtful details are woven throughout the architecture itself, including reclaimed wood from the historic Hollywood Bowl renovation incorporated into many of the door surrounds and balcony railings. The original seat numbers remain visible in the wood, preserving a small piece of Los Angeles music history within the home.

    Days at Skyline Ranch unfold slowly: coffee at sunrise overlooking endless desert terrain, afternoons spent drifting between the pools and expansive outdoor lounge decks, and evenings gathered around the fire pit beneath some of the clearest night skies in California.     BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: After reserving, you will receive a link to complete required steps: agreeing to house rules, verifying your identity and scheduling a brief call with our manager. All steps must be completed prior to check-in.

    CHECK & HOUSE GUIDE: Every Foxden Hospitality stay includes access to a curated digital house guide designed to make arrival and planning effortless. Inside, you’ll find check-in details, property information, local recommendations, house guidelines, and optional add-on experiences to elevate your stay in the high desert.

    EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: For guests looking to settle in a little earlier or linger a little longer, we may offer flexible early check-in and late check-out options when the calendar permits. Hourly extensions are available at $100 per hour for up to two additional hours. Half-day arrivals or departures (11am arrival or 4pm departure) may also be accommodated for 50% of the applicable nightly rate. All requests are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance with the Foxden Hospitality team.

    PARKING: Ample on-site parking with easy access from Pioneertown’s main road.

    ROAD CONDITIONS: Skyline Ranch is accessed by unpaved high desert roads that contribute to the property's sense of privacy and remoteness. A four-wheel drive vehicle is not necessary, but guests should plan to drive carefully, particularly after rainfall when sections of the road may become uneven or rugged.

    RVs & OFF ROAD VEHICLES: Recreational vehicles, off-highway motor vehicles such as ATVs, dirt bikes, and dune buggies are not allowed on the property — even if trailered and not in use.

    CELL SERVICE: Skyline Ranch is located in a remote part of the high desert where cellular reception varies by carrier. The property is equipped with high-speed WiFi throughout, and guests are encouraged to enable WiFi calling before arrival for the most reliable communication during their stay.

    DOGS: Up to 2 dogs are welcome per stay for a one time advance fee of $100 per dog.

    DELIVERIES: We are unable to accept packages at Skyline Ranch. Please plan accordingly and or utilize holding packages at the local post offices or Amazon lockers.

    CAMERAS: There are 3 exterior cameras monitoring entrances. There are no cameras inside the home, and all footage is automatically deleted on a regular schedule.

    PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND COMMERCIAL USE: Guests are welcome to capture personal photos and videos during their stay, and we love seeing your experience at Skyline Ranch. Feel free to tag @foxdenhospitality Due to county regulations, drone use is not permitted on the property.

    All professional photography, filming, content production, brand campaigns, workshops, styled shoots, or any commercial or revenue-generating media activity must be approved in advance prior to booking. Additional fees will apply and formal approval from the County of San Bernardino is required. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release.

    If you are unsure whether your shoot qualifies as commercial use, please inquire before booking. Unauthorized commercial production or filming will result in cancellation of the reservation and additional production fees.
