"Very good stay overall. Staff was friendly and helpful recommending things to do. They had a great fitness center and breakfast buffet was good. Also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner with reasonable prices. My only complaint would be the lack of a fan or the need to open the windows to keep room cool (and it's early March). Opening windows was fine, but let in a lot of road noise and they also opened up to what I think was a shared balcony, which takes away from the private feel. Otherwise though a nice stay. I would definitely stay here again as long as it was in the winter."

"Located on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again. "

"The room was comfortable and warm with a king size single. The room was spacious for my solo stay. The only downside to my room was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the sink in the bathroom was a little low down... but these are minor issues. The staff were welcoming although i didn't need or have too much interaction with them. The breakfast was a nice selection although the beans were too watery and the bacon pretty flavourless, I genuinely find outside of the UK bacon is pretty poor but other than that, there was a nice sekection of fruit, yoghurts, cereals, breads and meats/cheeses. I had a nice view of the Alps from my room which wss wonderful to see each morning. There is a TV in the room and there is a QR code for you to link your device(s) to so you can watch your Amazon/Netflix or other. Overall thisc was a great hotel if a little out the way but very clean, tidy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I return to Innsbruck. "
