“If U like to experience Safari, Palmstone Retreat is the place. The hotel has been open for only 3 months when we were there. The hotel is very beautiful. U can look out into the woods and stream first thing when U wake up in your bed. Rooms are huge. The manager, Cavindi, is by far the most friendly one I have met. The only thing that need to improve is the road that lead from the main road to the hotel. It is very narrow, dark at night, bumpy and steep. It took us 40 mins one single trip……

“This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place.”

Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. “The bungalow which we stayed for our holiday is only six rooms. The butler and the staff provide excellent services which many luxury hotels can not do. Staying in this property, your butler has already arranged everything and you do not think about anything about your stay. What you need to do is to tell your butler what you want and he will serve you or give advice to you. Highly recommend to anyone who will visit the same place. The experience is worth your payment.”

“The Bungalow is beautifully decorated and managed by awesome team. We had such a good time here so ended up staying inside most of the time. Make sure you eat here as the menu changes and it definitely was the best food we had, especially vegetable curries. Would recommend anyone who wants chilled time surrounded by beautiful nature, furniture and garden.”
