Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw. Hope to come back again; really a stunning spot.

This is a charming hotel with spectacular views over the historical harbor. We had a beautiful view room with an open deck and lovely furnishings. The breakfast was very good and the dining room with views over the harbor where you could watch the sailboats and fishing boats going in and out of the harbor.
