“This is a beautiful property with clean, comfortable rooms and a very well-maintained pool. The entire property is beautifully kept and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant getaway.”
“I stayed at Hotel Campestre in El Valle de Antón. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, with fresh mountain air and a relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for tranquility, this is definitely a positive point.
However, there were some issues during my stay. The room keys are old-fashioned, and one day I was locked inside my room for almost an hour. Fortunately, I had the phone number of a taxi driver who helped me contact reception.
Communication can also be difficult if you do not……
“We booked a room with a Mountain View and couldn’t have been happier. Love the use of shipping containers as rooms. Porch looking onto the mountains was meditative. Hotel restaurant dinner was excellent with good prices. Breakfast was included. Also excellent. Friendly staff.”
“This is one of the most interesting & eclectically decorated places I’ve ever stayed. It literally is like a museum. Cesar was in charge of reception, dining, and overall stay while we were there & he was fabulous!! If you are staying in El Valle, this is an absolute must stay. We had dinner & breakfast there & the food was delicious. Service is top notch. Would return in a heartbeat!! Wish we had more days there.”
“A nice and cozy place! The owner is extremely friendly and made the stay feel like home. He also offered us to use the bikes and we had some interesting conversations on football, music, and ancestry. He also has a really friendly dog named Music that wants to be petted all the time! The place has a lot soul, it’s very green, has lots of interesting books and is at a nice location to start hikes.
We were staying in the time of ripening of mangoes which were falling of trees at all times (onto……
“Staff were very welcoming and helpful!
Room was basic, but adequate for a one night stay and A/C worked great. Many restaurants and shops in close proximity to the property. Was a nice touch to see towel swans on our bed upon arrival!”
“The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach and next to local corner stores and restaurants. The owner was nice and showed us around when we came in. It was also around a 20 minute walk from the bus stop so there's no need for a car to move around. Theres a rooftop bbq area with hammocks and table top games that anyone staying can use. There's friendly cats on the property so that's a plus too.
The shower was a hassle to use, the shower head sprayed……
“What a wonderful place to find out what life on the Pacific coast of Panama is like and what it can be for you.
Brooke and her staff are everything you would want in them. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and supportive.
Breakfast is included and is the only meal served daily. Definitely try El Parque restaurant in San Carlos. Delicious and inexpensive.
Being a small lodge on the ocean makes it special.
FYI: No TV, no fridge, no microwave in my room but an awesome ocean view, a……
