We showed up at 4:15 and was told we had been upgraded to the new building outback. We were in a hurry to get to a family funeral that we had just driven 5 1/2 hours for when we walked in. There was a wet washcloth hanging over the smoke detector and pieces of somebody's weave was in the middle of floor. There is big chips out of the porcelain on the bathtub and this was supposed to be a new building. We got put in a room with a connecting door that will not show you if it's locked or not, and the next-door neighbor kept me awake all night, the man behind the desk when I checked out said I have to wait for 48 hours to get my $20 deposit back. I should have known when they required a deposit that it was a kind of hotel. I would never stay in since the wrong date got booked the day before I lost that money and had to pay for the room again and if I decided to cancel it, it was going to cost me extra to rebook it. I do have a reservation for September now and I refuse to use it or send anybody else to this hotel or motel whatever it is I told him I did not ask to be upgraded. He said if I was in the main building that I would've left in the middle of the night. It is definitely not a safe place to stay and I would not wish that hotel on my worst enemy the man this morning got mad because I didn't tell him of these hiccups last night when I got back from a funeral.

The hotel and staff were amazing. Only complaint is advertised complimentary breakfast. It consisted of a waffle or a bowl of cereal and coffee. No juice, no fruit, no yogurt,,,, nothing. So I wasnt able to eat anything because I have a yeast allergy. Stunk a bit.

The breakfast was terrible - limited to coffee, cereal and waffles. Asked for a tea bag because I do not drink coffee and I was told that they are not “required” to provide tea bags. We found used bloody needles stuck in the of the dry wall. The staff did respond and clean up the room when we reported it. There were dead cockroaches in the room. Overall, a dirty place. There is no true non-smoking room as people are smoking all over the place and room smelled like they are smoking in the room. Fortunately, we left early in the morning and returned at night so we did not have to endure the awful smells all day. Would not recommend this place

Will never stay here. I’m here for work and would’ve considered staying here for the remainder of my stay in Anderson but after owner refused refund for a smokers room I won’t even consider it. Terrible service. He would rather keep $73 and lose out on possible $200+. If you considering stay here I advise you don’t save your money and get a better hotel.

This property checked all the marks, clean, quiet, safe, close to everything. You couldnt ask for much more on a quick trip. Pool was clean and well maintained, front desk was so welcoming and kind, the room was clean and relaxing. Would recommend and will stay here again!

This is one nice hotel, clean and well kept. Rooms had everything you need. Great Staff help me Check in smoothly at 12AM. We did not hear any other guests during the night. There were no unpleasant smells in the hotel, whereas some other hotels we have stayed in have had strong odors of food and/or marijuana. We appreciate being able to bring our dog along. Recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the new building, it was clean and nice, and our room was very spacious. Great room. Cleaning ladies were very friendly. Breakfast could have been a little better, it did have some of the usual stuff (waffles, packages of oatmeal and grits, packages of pastries, coffee, etc.), but no butter for the pancakes and no juice.

I booked a hotel room through the Expedia website and paid for one night. I checked in, but I didn't stay in the room for more than five minutes because it was disgusting. There was hair everywhere and trash piled up behind the beds, as if the room hadn't been cleaned in months. I immediately went to the front desk, handed the keys to the concierge, and left. I requested a cancellation and a refund, but he told me he couldn't process it because a third party was involved.
