“We are from Connecticut and were visiting family in Kansas. The lodge was perfect. Darcy communicated when we booked about grocery store availability in the area. It was just my husband and me. But Darcy was more than welcoming in allowing us to have our grandchildren spend a few nights with us. The only suggestion would be to add a table and chairs and place on the wall under the TV. “This cabin was a peaceful place for my wife and I to relax and hang out. Everything was clean and tidy. The covered porch is great to sit and watch over the pond and see multiple species of birds try and catch a meal. The fishing was great. Caught lots of bass, large bluegill/sunfish and a few small cats with a few other larger catfish swimming around. The very firm mattress was not kind to our backs but over all a great place to stay! We will most likely return again with our children.”

“The Copa is a classic drive up to your room motel with renovated rooms. Our room was spotless. Shower pressure and temperature were excellent and there was a variable pressure shower head. Coffee in the room. This was probably the nicest independent motel that we have stayed in. The staff gave us a recommendation for breakfast at a cafe downtown”

“The Manager was exceptional!! The property is old, but it is kept clean. There were a few problems like hair dryer and microwave not working, but they were taken care of immediately so we couldn't ask for more! I was truly impressed with the care and service and we stayed there two weeks doing the fair!”
