“Friendly staff. Well located in a quiet mews 5 mins walk from the main squares. Room a bit old-fashioned, clean and comfortable (4 choices of pillow!), plenty of electric sockets, but disappointing absence of tea/coffee-making or even a welcoming bottle of water. No fridge or A/C; fan provided. Book ahead for car park; manoeuvring a large car tricky when full. Two 7 kW EV chargers: one Tesla only - good value if you can get an overnight charge. Nice simple breakfast.”

“The internet did not work. We stayed on the top floor, it was not strong enough to connect. Also, a number code would be useful to get in without the key card. We inadvertently left the key in the room and had to call someone to come and let us in. Clearly our fault and they were very kind and accommodating, and literally ran over without complaint. Otherwise, great location, very comfy beds, clean spacious room and lovely host.”
