"A nice cabin in a wonderful location on/around a golf resort.Getting there was quite the adventure with the rolling & windy roads.Although, portions of the house were not cleaned well prior to arriving.Nearby lake offers kayak & boat rentals.The lodge has a restaurant and indoor pool. Overall, we were pleased with this rental."

"The family had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and clean with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The mornings were greeted with the sound of the Three Fork Creek flowing as you sipped your coffee. Very relaxing. We explored West Virginia and ended our day at Laurel Lodge with a fully equipped kitchen for dinner, campfire and s’mores bye the creek. So far the best family trip ever."

"Had a guys weekend away. The home was a perfect home base. The resort had everything we needed for a great weekend (golf course, bar, restaurant, perfect fall weather). Terra Alta is also a wonderful little mountain town with great coffee and beer. May need to look into purchasing a home in Alpine Lake."

"This was the perfect secluded location and cabin. It was very cozy and clean. The only thing that could have made it better would be screens in the windows for some fresh mountain air. "This is one of the best hotel stays I’ve had this summer and at a very competitive rate. It was very clean, the breakfast was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The fitness and pool areas are certainly my not new but they had nice features. The layout of both the hotel lobby and the room was great. But the highlight for me was the service. The staff member at the desk politely greeted me by name both times that I saw him after checking in. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen in any hotel. Terrific service. I will absolutely look to stay here on future trips through the area. "
