“A beautiful hotel in a very peaceful location. Very friendly staff. A nice touch was a few beds on the beach accessed by a path through the woods. Our room was exceptional with a large pool within a few metres. Breakfast was good if very simple. My only suggestion would be to cook eggs to order rather than in one go and letting them go cold and unappetising. They must waste lots. However this is a small point. This is a great small hotel. ”

I had a very disappointing experience at Santa Marina. I booked two family rooms through Hotels.com, but when we arrived at the hotel, only one room was available. The staff told us they would arrange accommodation for us elsewhere and eventually placed us in a small double room in a nearby guesthouse – even though we were four people.
