"Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. "This could be a lovely property & appears to have been recently renovated to a good standard. However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge. "Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view from the garden and all closed in which was great for the dogs. To the side of the cottage is a big area to park your cars, which is a plus. The cottage is beautiful has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Carol is the lady who owns the cottage. She popped in to say hello and check if we need anything, give us a wonderful bottle of wine and treats for the dogs. I would stay here again."

"The hotel is modern and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. However the rooms are tiny and feel like you’re in a box. The beds are small and uncomfortable and any noise at all travels between rooms meanings very poor sleep. On a more positive the location is fantastic. "
