We stayed at Bristol Marriott Royal in order to attend our daughter’s University of Bristol graduation. It was very convenient for the ceremony, photographs and reception. The majority of hotel staff were extremely helpful and accommodating although when we returned after our evening meal on the first night to have drinks with friends the bar staff did not and would not offer table service. When we did go to the bar to order we were told then to move to the other side as that area was only for waiters!?!? Apart from that our stay was pleasant.

Really nice, but you can tell the room needs a bit of refresh. A lot of worn table, paint needs refresh, silicone and shower column in the bath older looking. But it was quiet and comfy

No safe handle inside the bath tub, installation of which will help to avoid slippery especially for the elderly. Reception staff are professional and are very helpful, impressive indeed.

When asked where one could charge up a hybrid, they have no idea and send you on a wild goose chase. I am not understanding why EV charging stations are not provided in the parking garage on the hotel site. At least know where there are working EV charging stations that are available in town. Staff are generally nonchalant in attitude. I don’t care to be told first thing in the morning that I need to get credit placed before I get breakfast. I don’t feel I need as big a breakfast as charged for with buffet type breakfast and the breakfast is not that good. I would rather pay A la carte anyway. So, take my credit card number upon check in and allow me to pay for what I want when I want and lose the attitude. I’m paying the big bucks just to stay at your hotel. I also do not need a lot of discussion about rooms available. I was early and quite willing to wait for the room requested.
