“We spent an idyllic week at Residence Terra Rossa in April. We found the landscaped gardens inside the gated property to be delightfully peaceful with beautiful views of the coast below. The manager was extremely helpful with directions and information ahead of our arrival, making our late evening arrival and self check-in very smooth and stress free. “This was perfect for the two of us. We loved that it was close enough to everything we wanted to do/see but out of the congestion/ crowds when we were ready to relax and chill by the ocean. “This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. “Property was as described. Excellent location, with good beds and amenities. Our host/owner Furio was responsive and offered excellent advice. Train station was a short drive for travel to Siracusa and later to Salerno. Easy access to Etna wine region and nearby towns. We stayed 3 nights which was our only regret as we should have stayed longer.”

While it should be properly fixed, there was really no issue. We stayed on the top floor and we are tall so I will have to say don't stay on the top floor if you're tall!
