Nightly fires rounded off our days. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was excellent with a spacious living area, well furnished kitchen. All the bedrooms were spacious, clean and modern. All the facilities were top notch and above all the location and views were absolutely stunning. We arrive and enjoyed the hot tub in the rain, woke to a gorgeous day drove 20 minutes to Balmaha and did some hiking and again enjoyed the hot tub. The next day was completely cloudless and we hiked Ben Lomond and we all were aided in our recovery by a long soak in the hot tub. The home is spacious, beautiful and clean with the best part being the bottle of wine and home made scones Ian share for our arrival!! There's a playground for little kids, a trampoline for all and beauty all around. The property is exactly as listed on vrbo. Ian, the host, was very helpful and the home-baked scones were a very nice welcome surprise. The cottage is surrounded by pastures with lots of sheep and cows, and the views from the living room, hot tub and master bedroom are wonderful.
