“The hotel was nice and comfortable. Not the nicest neighborhood but is gentrifying. Here’s the problem: the hotel does not allow you to bring a guest to your room. And they DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS ON EXPEDIA. Only after booking do they send you a confirmation with a lot of blather that most people (like myself) will never even notice or read, and it’s buried in with other standard and trivial information, toward the bottom. “It was a small hotel boutique hotel and the location is perfect. Walkable to Carmel Market, Rothschild Blvd, Shenkin St and the night spots. My room was decent sized, everything was as expected. The bathroom shower curtain was a bit too short and lots of water went outside the shower area. The door was thin and I could hear next door having fun in the hallway. It was pretty good overall.”
