Staff here was outstanding . Very warm and accommodating. A big shout out to Cody at the front desk who was not only warm and welcoming, but dealt with very serious car complications in our stay so efficiently and kindly.

I stayed with my best friend. The room opens up right onto the street. The amenities were fine just based on the cost that was a little disappointed with the set up. The balcony was basically on the sidewalk.

This chic hotel boutique is a gem! The friendly staff made us feel right at home. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the sauna offered a relaxing escape with a stunning view of the lake. The brunch was delicious, and we loved that everything was within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Their attention to detail made our wedding anniversary truly special.

our stay was just as great as we had experienced before, their front desk staff and manager on shift was professional in handling a little hiccup in our checking in through a third party provider ... but things got resolved within minutes .... the surrounding was beautiful, the decor is totally our fav .... just an amazing and happy feeling to stay at the Drake Devonshire and the Drake Motor Inn. Highly recommend

The overall experience was disappointing. The most significant issue was the room. There was a very strong sewage-like odour throughout the stay. The smell was persistent and noticeable both during the evening and overnight, and it disrupted sleep on multiple occasions. This was the main reason the stay did not meet expectations. The restaurant experience was also disappointing. The food was underwhelming and did not match the overall standard expected from the property. There were some positive aspects to the property, but the room odour and dining experience significantly affected the stay. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

Overall we had a good experience at the Drake Devonshire. However, no one informed us about the wedding taking place and what that would have meant for us. We were not allowed to use any of the amenities for a whole day. O just wish we were informed of this when we checked in so we could change plans a little bit from the get go. Overall the restaurant have delicious food right by the water.
