“The beach on west lake is nice, though rocky with seaweed, bring your shoes. Unit ok. Light from the front door for the walkway. Motel style. Restaurant try to looks classy without succes. Too pricy for your meal. Bring your food and/or take a unit with a kitchen. Here's the real deal about this place : location, location! Only 10 min from east or west gate of sandbanks. The sandbanks are worderfull!”

“We stayed at Lakeside as we were attending a beautiful wedding this past wknd. This was the most incredible experience in terms of covering every touch point from check-in to checkout!! Personal check-in to your room, incredible property with so much thought put into every aspect. The views, the food, the professionally trained staff and service, 5 star plus plus!! We can’t wait to return to the county and book another visit next summer! Until then, cheers Laura, we’ll be back to the “White……

“The property is under renovation and needs TLC. Staff is very helpful but for a 2 night stay there is no maid service”

“Very disappointed with our stay at the Drake Motor Inn. Our room wasn’t even in the main hotel—it was in a separate annex that was basically a shipping container converted into a room. The insulation was terrible; you could hear everything, making it far from a relaxing stay. To make things worse, the annex is literally sitting in the parking lot of the restaurant next door. Nothing says “boutique getaway” quite like falling asleep in what feels like a glorified shipping container surrounded……
