This motel is run down. The door did not close properly. While the bed and pillows were comfortable and clean we could have used another blanket on the bed because the air conditioner could not be turned down because the knobs to control it were missing. The woman who checked us in was not very pleasant and took offense when she asked for a credit card and we said Expedia had already charged us. When we discussed leaving and going else where she suddenly found that yes we had paid .

The ads for the motel said that it had been renovated but this was very misleading. The rooms were old, dirty, musty. The bedsheets were stained, as was the bedspread. I chose to sleep on top of the covers because the sheets and the bedspread stains were old. The carpet was dirty, stained and not vacuumed. There were dead bugs on the carpet and in the bathroom. The lock on the door was flimsy and not adequate security. We did not feel safe or comfortable there.
