My husband and I needed a relaxing weekend and we had not seen some friends in awhile. They suggested to meet at the Mckenzie River and find a place to rent where we can cook, play board games, and just catch up! We found this cabin and it exceeded our expectations. We were near the river and can hear the relaxing stream. The cabin was fully equipped with games, all the kitchen cooking items you need to make a meal, and was super clean. The beds were comfy and the hot water for the showers were very good. We were able to unwind and enjoy each other's company. In addition, the location was super great. Just a short walkable distance to the General Store. We were also close to the waterfalls, Fish Lake, and hiking trails in which we did a day hike. Super cozy cabin and super communicative hosts! We would love to come back and rent this cabin again!

Cozy, charming cottage by the river. Everything was perfect, especially sitting out on the screened in porch listening to the flowing river. The grounds were beautiful and we loved sitting in the chairs by the water enjoying a glass of wine. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Highly recommend this cabin.

My husband and our friend stayed here for some hikes and a ducks game - would stay again. Beautiful spot and the whole time we were like wow we want a place like this at some point to bring our family to - we loved it!!

If we are ever back in the area we would happily stay there again. The sound of the river was so relaxing! Loved every minute. Hadn’t noticed there wasn’t a washer and dryer but it relieved me of feeling I needed to do laundry while on vacay Also the Obsidian Grill right up the street was AMAZING. Also highly recommend.

Reunion on the Majestic Mckenzie River

Beautiful classic cabin on the river. Two old friends celebrate decades of fly fishing on the Mckenzie. Perfect setting within an easy drive to all summer water sports and sight seeing. This will continue to be an annual event until there is no more wax left on the candle.

Relaxing River Retreat

Cabin #9 sitting on the screened in porch lulled to complete relaxation by the sound and site of the McKenzie River. The quaint small community of cabins on the river surrounded by big beautiful trees looks like something out of a storybook. We did not want to leave and will be back !!!!

We absolutely loved our time at log cabin number nine! It was perfect. The cabin is very clean, well-stocked, with comfy furniture and beds. With a view of the river and quiet location, we didn’t want to leave! We will most definitely return for another visit but next time, we will stay longer!

Fifth Visit to Log Cabin Inn

First time staying in Cabin 9, and it was perfect all around. I obviously love the area with the natural sounds, beauty, attractions and happy people.This cabin was arranged better and had a great reading chair with light and very nice screen porch furniture. When I stayed till the last minute, I met the owner coming to clean their own place. Nice, Thanks.

My niece got married this weekend at Loloma. This cabin is 0.4 miles from the venue. It is peaceful. The river sounds are calming. The grounds are well kept. The cabin was clean and felt very comfortable. We would stay again.

Gorgeous cabin

This cabin is beautiful and very well maintained. The views of the McKenzie and the quiet surrounds make for a perfect getaway from everyday life. The local restaurants have delicious food and there are a variety of activities for anyone in the area.

Incredible!

Nothing short of wonderful. My grandparents were visiting Oregon for the first time and this cabin was absolutely enchanting. The view and constant sounds of the river was magical. We had anything we could possibly need in the kitchen and the beds and rooms were so cozy with great options for temperature control. The indoor fireplace kept the whole place nice and warm on chilly days and the sound bar on the tv was so nice I want one myself now. We already want to make plans to return!

Just the retreat we needed!

We absolutely loved this place; the small town feel, the nature, the serenity, and the cabin couldn’t have been more perfect. It is well appointed while also being cozy; we will definitely be back!
