However, upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed that the room looked run down and dirty. Our daughter who came by to visit was sitting on one of the beds and noticed brown stuff smeared on the underside of the bed cover, as well as hair and dirt on the sheet and pillowcases. Same went for the other bed once we started paying attention. We informed the front desk and the lady working that evening was very kind and apologetic and assured us that she would get it fixed. We came back from dinner and beds were newly changed and clean. We did not utilize the breakfast in the mornings, due to observing one of the breakfast attendants eating with the same gloves on that she was touching and replacing food items with. All in all, we were disappointed with the stay and won't be staying here in the future. The desk staff were friendly and the check-in/check-out process was quick. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked, and the beds were neither too stiff nor too soft and none of us felt grossed out by the bed linens or anything. The free breakfast was standard fare (sausage patties, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, coffee, orange juice, cereal, yogurt, etc.) and edible but nothing to write home about. The pool was closed so we didn't get to experience that, which is why I only gave 3-stars for amenities. And there's a near overwhelming smell of vanilla as you walk in. Also, the bathroom did not have a bath tub, only a standing shower. So if you have kids that aren't shower-ready yet, you may want to keep that in mind.
