“We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Avalon B&B. Nick was a superb host and the property as a whole was very clean and tidy. The rooms had everything we needed for our short stay and the breakfast options were great. The full English breakfast Nick cooked on our 2nd morning was the ideal start to the day for our long drive back up to Manchester. “Gorgeous house sitting next to a farm. Not location I thought it would be on the map as there is a dual carriageway between it and Christchurch town. A local told me we could have walked down the road and over the footbridge into centre within 20mins. Wasn't told this and there was no local info said to us nor written, only plugging local eaterie in which they have an interest. “Fue un poco diferente a lo esperado, la habitación era minuscula, desde ventana solo veiamos el tejado del bar y teniamos la salida de humos delante. Habia arañas por todas partes, la cama se inclinava hacia el cabezero. Tuvimos que dormir en los pies. De los pies de la cama a la paret habia 10 cm. Con mucha humedad. Es un lugar para nada recomendable. El almuerzo era acceptable. ”

“The host, Justin, is an amazing one-man-band. Incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was lovely; clean, bright and warm. Each day my fridge was restocked with water and fresh milk. The breakfast was always fabulous, especially the poached eggs (perfect!). Plenty of parking (free) and beautiful countryside, though not far from all amenities (3 min drive). Pub within walking distance. I will definitely stay again and will recommend to visiting friends and family. ”
