“I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high……

“Nice old historic building with the quirks of charms to go with it. The beds were very comfortable and the room had fans to help with the heat of the summer. Classic style pub attached to the property and a decent sized pub garden to go with it. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. I think this was the stand out part of the stay. Had the carvery on one of the night there and have to say it was superb. Would definitely consider stay here if in the area, or going to the Royal Welsh……

“On our arrival we were greeted by the most cheerful host who introduced herself as Sian. She made us feel most welcome. She showed us to our beautiful family room overlooking the Groe Park and the rugby pitch alongside the River Wye. The room was spotless, with a double and single bed and 2 very comfy armchairs in the alcove looking out at the gorgeous view. Sian went out of her way to show concern and interest in the reasons for our visit to Builth. She was most flexible in times for our……
