Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head.

This is an exceptional property in the beautiful Black Forest. It is a newer property with good sized comfortable rooms, an exceptional breakfast, and great hiking within steps of the hotel. I also appreciated how close it was to the train station. Highly recommend.

A wonderful location in the Black forest with the flair of the old Germany the old Black Forest the people working there were absolutely wonderful. It’s a very classy environment. Fantastic food, fantastic wine from barrels. They also have a sauna and a honor system in the seller so if you would like wine or any other beverage, you just take it put your name on it and pay at the end beautiful environment. You can see all the hills and mountains. Nice cute little town walking distance to a bus...

It was magical, whimsical and wonderful every step of the way. We couldn't complain about a thing! The staff was so kind and friendly and fun. The sad thing was that we had to leave . You must stay there if your in the Black Forest:)

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! AC did not work, and the room was extremely hot even with the door open making it hard to sleep. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Great hotel right in the middle of town. Definately recommend it.
