Everything was as described. We liked the area. The bathroom was very clean and the home in general. It's a small house, perfect for us. There are no sound barriers, so beware lol. It is walking distance to stores and restaurants.

The home was exactly as photos indicated. Location was excellent...within blocks of restaurants, parks, gorgeous walks above sea. Very nice and comfortable furniture. Both beds in the 2 bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable and the bedding was deluxe. Loved the bookshelf with variety of books/game in front bedroom. Nice closet space with quality hangers. Kitchen has a huge double wide refrigerator...there were only 2 of us for a short stay so we didn't need it but for a larger party, it's perfect. Set of 4/6 dishes & glasses. Several pots, pans, cooking utensils. Toaster/microwave with large stove/oven. Table for eating has 4 chairs. There's a lovely little desk in the living area with lamp and plenty of plug-ins. Large screen TV (which we did not use so we're not sure all channels that could be accessed). Plastic Adirondack chairs to sit on front porch. Extremely well put together and helpful notebook which included not only places to see, eat, stores, churches, medical services, local parks, (with addresses, phone #s, hours of operation) but history and very interesting information about the county. First page included all the instructions/expectations for your stay, check-in/check-out times, contact person/#. There are no views of water but you are within minutes of a variety of views/access. Easy parking right in front of home.

Close to downtown in Brookings
This property was a great spot for two high school friends to have a reunion. The property is very clean, seemingly newly remodeled with a well- stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large living room/dining area. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch taking a break from our days of walking. Location was the upside and downside; because of our being only a block from Hwy 101, I could hear some traffic noise from the front bedroom. The upside was we could easily walk to excellent restaurants and points of interest. Communication with the property manager was excellent. I felt welcomed and communicated with every step of the way. Questions were answered in a timely way. I was glad to have the opportunity to stay here.

Sunlight Cottage was adorable! It reminded me of our first home’s charm. The beds and sofa were super comfy. It was an easy quick process to get the keys. Brookings is a great little town. We spent all day exploring Samuel Boardman stops and felt relaxed at Sunlight Cottage in the evenings.

Cute little house
I really enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was well stocked with every gadget a cook might need. The house was laid out well. My only complaint is that there is a street light in front of the house. From the front bedroom it is so bright in the middle of the night. The back bedroom is only slightly better. I ended up running to Fred Myer and buying sleep masks for the entire family to get us through the week. Other than that our stay was great.

This cottage is in town, very charming and quite a good value. Comfortable beds, and sofa. Fast internet and lots of channels on the T.V. Very clean with the exception of some glassware and dishes. Since there is no dishwasher, I would like to suggest that the cleaning service double check dining ware for cleanliness. Contacted host regarding a blown out front porch light and it was repaired before we returned that same evening. Spacious living, dining and kitchen areas, but very small bedrooms and bathroom. There may be a side or back yard, but they were inaccessible and may not belong to this property. There is a back door, but it was locked which left only the front door to exit in case of emergency. All blinds were closed when we arrived, most likely because there is nothing to look at outside, but they do let in natural light and we never felt as if it was too dark during daylight hours. Couldn't locate "coin operated laundry" which is shown as one of the listed amenities. All-in-all we had a comfortable 3-night stay in this very charming rental.
