Accommodations: House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 8-12) Near the top of the mountain and numerous recreation facilities, a large contemporary awaits you and your vacationing family or group. Soak up the quiet as you watch the deer, wild turkey, raccoons and other wildlife from many tall windows inside. This Non-Smoking, Pet-Friendly home is fresh and inviting. The Great Room, Dining, and Kitchen are entirely open and awesome, with soaring ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, TV with DVD, a CD/Radio, and lots of comfortable seating, even a rocking chair! In warm weather, there is a large, screened porch with outdoor furniture for your enjoyment. The floor plan encourages togetherness and sharing of special moments.Our Kitchen and adjacent laundry area are fully-equipped, with all the large and small appliances one could need. Just bring your groceries (and detergents and paper products, of course!) and LET THE FUN BEGIN! The first floor has a second Master Bedroom with a Queen bed. There is a second Queen bedroom, and lastly, a full bed in the other bedroom. The first floor bath is Hollywood-style, with two compartments, so that two guests can use it simultaneously. The Master Suite is on the upper, loft area and features a king-size bed, (also a toddler's bed), large skylight, a private balcony, and a large bath with two-person Jacuzzi surrounded by natural cedar, mirrors and a wooded view. There is also a separate shower, great after a brisk run in the mountain air. Blankets, pillows, linens, and comforters are provided. There is also a double futon and a sleep sofa in lower level family room.) The Lower Level is one very large Family Room with a pool table, a Foosball game table, TV with DVD, lots of comfortable seating, and room for card playing, games, etc. This is a great room for relaxing after an exhilarating day on the slopes, or hiking around the Poconos. The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable. My favorite place was the screened porch, surrounded by trees. Having my morning coffee there was very relaxing and enjoyable! Pros: The space was offered plenty of room for everyone to hang out. It was equipped with all the appliances we needed to make meals. We enjoyed spending time in the cozy living room, and playing foosball in the basement. The location near the Delaware Water Gap is a highlight -- we had a great hike on a nearby trail.Cons: The sheets in the master bedroom had some old food on them and did not seem to be fully washed, which was disappointing and made us question the overall cleanliness. Additionally, while the cabin had plenty of charm, it was clear that the house wasn’t in the best shape and could use some upkeep. It was a comfortable space and plenty of room to spread out. The kids enjoyed snowboarding and skiing with their dad while I stayed at the house with our puppy sitting by the fire enjoying the view and peace and quiet. The communication with the property manager was great, she was super helpful with anything I needed. The house was great too! The only things I didn’t love about the house is that there is no AC in the bedrooms and in the master there is a skylight above the bed with no curtain or anything on it so it was tough with the kids in the room since it was so bright. The living room floor is also sunken so not great for toddlers but that’s just a personal opinion.
