“The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect. When I thought it couldn’t get any better the food was top notch! Was in town for the Mid Ohio MotoAmerica races so I only spent one night wished I could have enjoyed it longer. I will certainly be back next year for the races. This time I will come in Friday and spend a couple nights with you. Thanks again, Jeff W”

“Where to begin! The ice machine in the lobby spits ice all over the floor. The entire building smells like cigarette smoke. 1 roll of toilet paper, 2 thin towels, filthy bathroom. The walls were splattered with who knows what. The window air conditioner was very loud and didn’t cool the room. Maybe 32in tv. Bed sheets had stains. Kids playing basketball in the very small crammed parking lot. Not a very good door lock and big gaps at the bottom of the door. If you are claustrophobic you would not……

“All is as it should be ... except the breakfast. No hot options, no fruit, no yogurt. Waffle, toast, 2 cereal options ... end of story.”

“I did not like very much about this hotel experience. I stayed 2 nights and I was disappointed with my experience. While checking in, the entire first floors air conditioning was out all weekend. Entering my room, there were no comforters at all, only sheets. There was no bar or hooks to hang any clothes. The tv and phone were not functioning. Someone tried to fix the tv but they were unsuccessful. The first time we tried to shower, the bar and shower curtain came crashing down. I complained……

“When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College.”

“Actively had bed bugs crawling on top mattress, cigarette smoke throughout building, half the electrical outlets didn't work, staff was nice though”
