On arrival, lack of a warm welcome and information about anything. Given the keys to what I can only describe as a dingy dark hole in the attic with thread bear stained carpet. Asked to move rooms straight away. Second room... Stains on carpet, peeling paint, cracked tiles, couldn't open any windows, coffee making items non existent but coffee machine in place. Light bulb missing, light fittings loose. Dirty wine glass given when we asked a reception staff member for a drink from the bar. Restaurant not open. Overall this place felt really depressing, lacking in life and friendliness. Stayed 1 night instead of 4 and found somewhere else. Can't comment on breakfast as it didn't seem to be there and no one bothered to show us where anything was. So disappointed as this was a special treat for my husband.
