"Lovely place, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, big terrace with comfy chairs and beautiful view, garden is very nice, too. Owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We appreciated the food and drinks left for us when we arrived late. If you are offered a ride with Sergio in his super car, don’t miss this chance, it was one of the highlights of our stay.The location is a bit away from everything, which means you need a car to stay there."

"This was our second time staying in Villa Maria, last time we were in 1. They both have the same layout and amenities. Beautifully clean, screens on the windows (very important) lovely welcome foods and very comfortable. I am sure we will return "home" when next we visit Sao Miguel. Thank you Sergio and Maria!"
"The apartment unit was clean, and kitchen well stocked. Be careful that there are two listings for this property, one with 46 photos, one with 13. Both are listed as entire homes, the listing with 13 photos is an apartment within the larger home (46 photo unit). It is directly on a busy street, incredibly noisy. Property lists a paddle board, and it is pictured in all listing photos, it is not included. Would not recommend "
