“The room was clean and good. The shower was in the path tab and some of the equipment was on the cheap side like toaster etc. I couldn't recharge our Segway scooter and no option not even the basement to recharge was given to me. I've asked to be contacted by the responsible person to ask politely for other options but was not even contacted like promised the day before. Therefore I was only able to use it for one day. “Didn't have a chance to explore nearby as it was raining, limited indoor parking so you have to park outside which might not be an ideal option if you have a lot of luggage. Worth mentioning is the gym at the hotel which is good.”

“We loved our stay at La Promenade. Exactly as advertised, clean and well laid out with friendly staff. It is currently being renovated a few rooms at a time, but of no imposition to our stay. This will only make it a more attractive proposition in the future.”

“First up we were told after we paid that a $200 holding fee would be held for 28 days, if we had paid cash we could have got that back on check out. For the price I was shocked that the expectation was we had to wash up, although no sink just a bucket you could fill up in the shower to wash your dishes. We decided against that as we discovered an ant trail in the food prep shelf thing. There was also mould in the shower and the aircon was held together with duct tape. Upside location was……

“The manager was more than accommodating assisting us to have a quiet room upstairs. Rooms are clean and tidy. Bed linen is high quality and comfortable beds. Love the addition of cereal included in the room We''ve been staying here a few times on our drive up and down QLD. Good safe place and ideal with kids with the pool and entertainment when eating in the beer garden”

“Booked last minute. No one onsite to check in. Owner eventually rang me and turned up with a key. Room was small but reasonably comfy and clean bed. Shared shower and toilets clean. No tea and coffee available. Outside BBQ with full ash-tray and needed cleaning and spruce up. One room was flooded. Owner was nice. Parking was on the property, but not enough spaces for the number of rooms. Definitely overpriced for what it was. Would I stay there again? Probably not! ”

“Issues with checkin, could not checkin untill 6.30pm very annoying. Room was dirty with cockroaches, musty smell. no key was for lock up was provided. TV did not work. Nosies tapping on the wall and windows at night, our children were terrified. pet could not go outside overgrown grass and junk. Stains on the sheets overall very very disappointing. ”

“A quaint, hidden gem of a property which was well located away from the hustle and bustle. Lisa, who manages the place, was lovely and friendly. The spa bath was a real treat and it was refreshing to stay in pet friendly accomodation that didn’t charge extra for your pet (big plus!). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the cabin had a lovely homely feel. Only small negatives were that the towels were really thin, there was just a sheet and thin blanket (no duvet) so it got a bit cold……
