“The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. “Communication was top notch from the moment we booked. Welcome pamphlet with info on things like the hot tub and tv/cable use and local stores/restaurants/emergency services was nice to have. The property manager also left us a nice little gift of a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a sweet touch. We were looking for a nice quiet weekend away and this was the perfect place for it!”

Restaurants, beaches and wineries are within a short driving distance. You can also walk to the local market. The host is very friendly and helpful with providing recommendations. “We had a fantastic stay. Waking up and enjoying a cup of tea with only the sounds of nature around you. We left all the stress of the city behind for the weekend. The cabin was adorable with everything we needed..the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it. 10/10 will be back. Carolyn and Paul were great hosts. Before we left we took a tour for the animal sanctuary. Which was the cherry on top of a great weekend”
