“We went here after talking to the host about needing a place where there would be no fireworks for our very scared dog. He said he would discuss it with the only people that were within a mile of the property and ask them to not do fireworks. They did fireworks and they were only 50 yards from us!! The people at the house close by tried to make us feel bad earlier in the day because we didn’t want their 2 dogs at our place. They told us they had locked them in a camper after we asked them to...

“We only had one night to stay here but it is one we would definitely stay at again. It was clean, bright, stocked with everything needed (no oven or range top but did have a toaster oven). It was very comfortable for us and our 2 dogs and very charming. We really enjoyed our quick visit. The only thing that could be an issue was there was a lot of steps to get down to the house which could be an issue for those with any mobility problems. The steps light up as you use them at night which was...

“Cookie sheets for kitchen would be the only thing we needed throughout the stay. If you are looking for a place to disconnect, this is the place to book!”

“First and foremost, we did not want to leave!!! The view of the stars thru the bedroom dome was incredible. The cottage was quit and had everything we needed. We saw one person in five days.... Only 1.3 miles from Heaven on earth Restaurant and that is all we needed for meals..... Best bakery with homemade cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and coffee cake. All meals made you feel you were eating moms home cooking....10 min from casino if desired, we attended a wedding in Myrtle creek, everything was...

“The Ranch was everything you could ever want and more it was the most quiet and peaceful night my wife was over the moon with the cows there definitely will be more stays in the future”

“Absolutely lovely little gem in the woods. Next time I hope to stay more than one night. For light sensitive people, there is a skylight over the bed and an early morning sunrise means seriously bright light.”

“Great little well needed romantic getaway!”

“Cheri and Mike are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay. The private tour with the history of the house was a huge plus. Cheri and Mike are proud of the historical significance of the house. The renovations Cheri and Mike did, preserved the heritage. The location is wonderful, walking distance from "downtown" Roseburg. We want to come back. Our room was perfect! Clean and had an in room sink. I loved the sound machines in each room, it helped me sleep better. I wish we could have had another...
