Car Rental Cannes City Centre

After you've been to all of the interesting sights in Cannes City Centre, there's loads more to discover in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and hit the road. We've pulled together some road trips we think you'll love:

• Head off to Aix-en-Provence for an excellent sightseeing experience. About 80 miles from Cannes City Centre, it's home to numerous great sights like Cours Mirabeau.
• Around 110 miles away, Avignon is also a hit with wanderers. Set aside time to experience Palais des Papes while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this colorful city.
• Get out into nature and take in the serenity at Mont Blanc. You'll find it about 160 miles from Cannes City Centre.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in France, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:
