When you've visited all of the well-known attractions in Toyosu, there's heaps more to see in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get going. Here are some road trips we think you'll love:

• Make your way to Ito for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. About 60 miles from Toyosu, it's home to tons of amazing attractions, including Izu Oceanic Park.
• Approximately 110 miles away, Nagano is also a favorite with wanderers. Set aside time to take in Nagano Olympic Stadium while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this buzzing city.
