“Clean and nicely decorated room. Slippers and toiletries provided. I did have the impression that this was an apartment with a kitchenette. No, it’s just a room. The shared kitchen is upstairs. Also you are not allowed to have food or drink in the room. So if you want a cup of tea/coffee, or food, it has to be upstairs in the kitchen. Very inconvenient. No cup of tea relaxing in your pyjamas. The room is a 10 minute walk from the station and well located in town and for Villa D’Este. A short……

“We had fantastic three days at Carmine's. The house is truly spectacular, it must be like staying with Hagrid from Harry Potter. The place was full of old curiosities and had an exciting atmosphere. “This property is gorgeous, with such interesting details. The only reason I didn’t give our stay a perfect rating is due to how difficult it was to find and we could have used tips on parking in the area. After driving around for a very long time, we chose a spot we weren’t sure of and got a ticket! If you are better at navigating than we Americans, then you will be THRILLED with property!”
