Grey Rocks Apartment sits above the charming coastal village of Kippford, perfectly placed to enjoy wonderful views over the village and the Solway Firth. The well-equipped galley kitchen has everything you need to prepare tasty home-cooked meals, and the comfortable double bedroom features an en-suite shower room for your convenience. Outside, the balcony is the perfect spot to sit back with a morning coffee or evening drink, taking in the stunning views. Just a couple of minutes’ walk takes you down to the shore, where you can watch the boats and yachts drift by. It’s a lovely place for a stroll with the dog, with friendly pubs and little shops to discover along the way. For those who enjoy walking, the scenic route from Kippford to Rockcliffe follows the coastline through woodland, passing the historic Mote of Mark Hill Fort viewpoint. At low tide, you can even wander across to Rough Island. Another beautiful coastal path runs from Kippford to Sandyhills, known for its striking natural rock formations. Right behind the property lies a 48-acre Nature Reserve, perfect for peaceful walks, and there are two excellent 18-hole golf courses nearby. If you fancy exploring further afield, visit the market town of Castle Douglas with its great shops and restaurants, discover Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, or spend a day in Dumfries.
