There is a small path that leads back to the old railroad trestle that if you stay you really need to visit. The owner provides an assortment of books to read while you are there as well as all the necessities for cooking. “The hotel was a historic amazing property. I loved the ambiance but the room was a little odd. The shower and sink were in the bedroom and the bathroom had a 12 or 15 inch step up to it and a weird little door that left you no privacy. But I will stay there again because it is a beautiful old property rich in history. It housed soldiers during the war between the states! The kitchen area was used as an infirmary. The staff was great and it was located in the middle of everything”
