“I had to track the manager down, who was in a different area of the building just to check in! Then, she briefly showed me to the room and appeared to be in a hurry to get back to what she was doing before I arrived! I asked about the doors being locked at night to the main part of the Inn but she said, “We don’t lock our doors here!” My Sister and I were the only ones that were staying there and we’re in our 60,s/70’s and we did not feel secure! We were right next to a bar that was only about……

“We have stayed at this property in the past and were pleased each time. This visit proved to be a different experience. When we arrived, no staff appeared to be on premise so, my wife called a switch board and was told that our room keys should be on the front desk. They were there, so wanting to drop off luggage we took the keys and went to the room. We were allowed to park at the temporary parking lot across the street. The other surprise was that the next morning again no staff were on-site……

“I absolutely loved our stay. The breakfast was amazing. It’s different every day, we had a quiche on Friday morning with a homemade apple cinnamon scone 10/10. The room was amazing and neat and had cute little amenities. They had an iron and an ironing board which I used and also provided a fan if needed but the room was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great also. My only note would be the carpet, it seems as if it was never really cleaned. Other than that they had tea, coffee,……

“We love The Hibiscus. We always stay in The Big Easy room which is spacious and not connected to the rest of the property. We decided to stay an extra night and it was already booked. The owner helped us by booking us into one of the flats. Game changer. Now we want to come back in the fall and stay longer. The flats have more room and a full kitchen. This boutique inn is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back. It is rare in this area to stay at a place where you can walk to the beach and……

“The Garden House was a quaint, yet surprisingly comfortable villa. It was very lovely and peaceful. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to fully experience Key West life, as it was close to everything. No vehicle needed. Parking would have been difficult if we had brought a car.”
